The House of Arthur Metz is ideally located to the north of the picturesque Alsace wine route which represents the backbone of Alsatian wine country. Arthur Metz is a major player in Alsace wine and the leading producer of Crémant d'Alsace Sparkling wine. Alsatian vineyard is situated at the foot of the Vosges, between Marlenheim and Thann. Alsace owns a mosaïc of terroirs very different from each other.
The wine growing region of Alsace is wide and 120 Km long from the north to the south and totalises 15500 Ha. The natural barrier of Vosges accomodates the vineyards and has a double impact on the very unique climate found in Alsace which is semi continental with also law rainfalls. Many different soils result in a patchwork in favour of a fantastic diversity of terroirs.
